Late last year, Las Fallon from the Dublin Fire Brigade approached TAP with a challenging exhibition project to commemorate the Fire Brigade’s involvement in the 1916 uprising. Working with Source Design on the graphic design for this project, TAP developed and installed an exhibition system which is currently on show in the round exhibition space of Dublin City Hall.
The removable and free standing elements of this exhibition allowed us to work sympathetically within this Grade 1 listed conservation space, without losing any of the impact of Las’ amazing collection of Dublin Fire Brigade history.
Dublin City Hall is one of the most iconic buildings in Dublin. You can’t help but be impressed with the Georgian architecture which flows throughout. The exhibition space was located within the basement and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride, seeing the TAP team, doing such a good job in bringing The Dublin Fire Brigade’s displays to life in such marvellous surroundings.
